Overview
Browser-based monitoring plus predefined and custom workflow controls, so factory operators can run SEER AGV processes without opening RoboShop Pro.
What I built
- Browser-based monitoring and predefined/custom workflow controls that let operators run SEER AGV processes without RoboShop Pro.
- .NET 8 with Blazor, an ASP.NET Core REST API and a background Worker.
- PostgreSQL with EF Core for persistence, SignalR for live telemetry and TCP/IP communication with the robots.
System design
Blazor control surface
Operators monitor the fleet and launch predefined or custom workflows from any browser on the floor, instead of a desktop engineering tool.
Background Worker on TCP/IP
A long-running .NET worker owns the TCP/IP communication with the SEER AGVs and keeps the robot side separate from the web request path.
Live telemetry over SignalR
Robot state is pushed to every open dashboard through SignalR, so the control room sees changes as they happen.
REST API and PostgreSQL
An ASP.NET Core REST API with EF Core on PostgreSQL stores workflows and exposes them to the UI and to other systems.
